Many of us know that Sivakarthikeyan and director PS Mithran are doing a film together. The latest is that actor Arjun, who earlier worked with Mithran in Irumbu Thirai, has also been asked to be a part of this film.
And the movie will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who had scored music for Irmbu Thirai as well. The yet-untitled project is currently being dubbed as SK 16.
According to Mithran, he and Siva had worked on a short film and have been planning to work together for a while. Apparently, they were even supposed to work on a project even before Irumbu Thirai.
24 AM Studios, which produced Seema Raja and Remo, is also producing the new film. The upcoming yet-untitled project is likely to go on floors next year.
At present, Sivakarthikeyan is busy with two movies- a comedy-romantic entertainer being directed by Rajesh M and a sci-film being helmed by Ravikumar of Indru Netru Naalai fame. The latter has music by A R Rahman.
Siva is also producing Kanaa, the debut directorial venture of Arunraja Kamaraj, who is known for being the voice of the song Neruppu Da from Rajinikanth’s Kabali.
“Right now, Siva is simultaneously working on two projects and it’s taking a toll on him. Not just physically, but mentally as well. He’s never worked on two projects at the same time. He wants to work on Mithran’s project with no other commitment to worry about,” sources were quoted as saying.
