Post Baahubali 2, Anushka Shetty has drastically reduced her acting assignments. Since the release of Baahubali 2 in 2017, she as a led heroine has done only two films – Baagamathie and Nishabdham.
While there were rumours about the actress getting hitched being the reason behind her not signing movies, we now hear that she will be next seen in Kamal Haasan’s Vettaiyadu Villaiyadu sequel.
The latest we hear is that Anushka has decided to work with only directors who she believes in and who she thinks will give her a prominent role. It is said Anushka will not sign new films until she’s sure that the movie entirely revolves around her.
Reports said she would prefer to new movies to directors and producers who are very close to her. Henceforth, she may sign one movie in a year or two. Slowly, she will bid good-bye to acting, it is said.
It is being said that the elegant actress has made up her mind to only sign those films which give importance to her character and is planning to team up with directors and producers who are close to her.
Also, she has decided to do not more than one or two films a year to give the best to her performances instead of making films in a rush. But the actress has not yet made an official statement regarding the same.
