Anushka Shetty goes Jyothika, Keerthy Suresh way

With the makers of Jyothika starrer Ponmagal Vandhaal and Keerthy Suresh’s Penguin deciding to release the movies on digital platforms due to the ongoing Covid-19 criris, one more film too has joined the list.

Madhavan and Anushka Shetty starrer Nishabdham aka Silence is likely to release on OTT, it is said. Directed by Hemant Madhukar, the highly-anticipated horror thriller’s release was postponed several times.

Anushka will be sharing the screen space with actor R Madhavan. Nishabdham marks the second collaboration of the actors. Sundar C’s 2006 Tamil film Rendu was their first film of Anushka and R Madhavan together.

Kona Venkat and TG Vishwaprasad have jointly produced Nishabdham and it has music by Gopi Sunder, Shaneil Deo is the director of photography and Prawin Pudi is the editor of the film. Neeraja Kona is the costume designer of this movie.

Amazon Prime Video made a bunch of announcements Along with a couple of Hindi films, Amazon also announced the releases of Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam films on their platform.

Nishabdham was scheduled to have a release on April 2, but was later postponed indefinitely due to the sudden COVID-19 outbreak. As per the buzz, the makers of the thriller might skip the theatrical release post-lockdown.

The film has Anushka Shetty as a mute woman, who experiences paranormal activities happening in an haunted house. On the other hand, Madhavan, who essays the role of a musician, too experiences similar kinds of activities.
