Anushka charms Chennai, talks about her ‘murderous characters’

The audio launch of Anushka Shetty’s Bhaagamathie (Tamil version) took place in Chennai on Wednesday. The launch was attended by the film’s director G Ashok, actress Vidyullekha Raman, music director S Thaman and the lead actress herself.

“I don’t want to give away spoilers,” she smiled. She assured though that the ‘historical horror-thriller’ that is getting released next week, will be quite different from her recent films, Rudhramadevi and Baahubali.

“Azhaga, breezy-a padam pannanum nu aasai, but somehow, I always end up having to kill people with swords and knives,” she said.

As special guests, Anushka’s Baahubali co-stars Nassar and Ramya Krishnan and one of Anushka’s colleagues – Suriya, attended the audio launch event.

Speaking during the audio launch, music director S Thaman said that just like Baahubali was for Prabhas, Bhaagamathie will turn out to be for Anushka.
