Annamalai submits DMK files part 2 to Governor RN Ravi
Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president K Annamalai, accompanied by senior leaders of the party, presented the second part of the DMK Files To Governor RN Ravi today.
Annamalai wrote on Twitter, “We presented a memorandum seeking his excellency’s intervention & suitable action concerning Part 2 of DMK files with documents on Benami connected to the DMK Ministers/MLAs/MPs & the first family & 3 scams for a value of ₹5600 Crores.”
Regarding the alleged scams, he wrote that the party would speak about them in detail during the En Mann En Makkal padayatra, which would commence on 28 July.
The scams mentioned are a Rs 3000 crore scam in ETL Infrastructure Services Limited, a Rs 2000 crore scam in the Transport department and a Rs 600 crore scam in the Tamil Nadu Medical Services Corporation (TNMSC).

The second part of the DMK Files comes around 3 months after the release of the first part in which a number of DMK leaders were alleged to have amassed huge wealth through corruption and not declaring it in their election affidavits.
Annamalai had also alleged that Chief Minister MK Stalin had received a bribe of Rs 200 crore from Alstom during the tender process for the Chennai Metro in 2011.
