Anirudh, who has reunited with Vijay after Kaththi, has requested fans to stay patient as their wait for the release of Master will be a worthy one. He has said this in a recent online interaction.
“We launched the audio just before the lockdown and luckily, fans got the chance to enjoy the music. Had the lockdown been advanced, we wouldn’t have released the audio and it would have been a long wait. I’m seeing things positively and everyone must think this way,” he said.
The Darbar and Petta composer added: “I’m happy about the viral reach of the Master album on TikTok. Lokesh is currently working on the post-production and I’m busy with the re-recording of the film in the mini-studio set up at my home. I can assure fans that whenever Master releases, it will be a celebration.”
After the Tamil Nadu government granted permission last week to resume the post production works of films, several Tamil movies’ post production works have resumed. In that list, makers of Vijay starrer Master have also resumed with the editing work of the film.
Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has directed the film, took to his Instagram space and shared a photo from the editing studio. Sharing the photo, he wrote on the photo sharing app, “Go ahead, make my day #MASTER #POSTPRODUCTION”.
Master, touted to be a thriller, is one of the most talked about movies of the year. It features Vijay in a new avatar that has piqued curiosity. It reportedly features a car chase sequence that might prove to be a feast for the target audience.
The inside talk is that the film might elevate Vijay’s reel image to the next level. Master features Vijay Sethupathi as the main antagonist and this has created a fair deal of buzz among movie buffs. Makkal Selvan and Thalapathy are likely to have an ‘epic’ showdown in the biggie, which has the potential to be a major theatre moment.
