After winning the hearts of Rajinikanth fans in Karthik Subbaraj-directed Petta, young composer Anirudh Ravichander is all set to repeat the magic.
He has confirmed that he would compose music for the upcoming film of the superstar, which is to be directed by A R Murugadoss.
On working in Petta, he told Times of India, “The last six months were probably the best time of our lives… everybody in the studio, and not just us, but even Karthik’s (Subbaraj) team. We have all wanted to do such a project from the time we were kids. And then, it all came true with Petta.”
Meanwhile, Murugadoss, who all set to direct Superstar Rajinikanth for the first time in his career, is also busy writing dialogues for a Hollywood film.
The ace director is writing the dialogues for the Tamil dubbed version of Avengers: Endgame. In an endeavour to present the film to fans in their local language, Marvel India has associated with Murugadoss.
In a statement, he said, “I have always admired the story, spectacle and scale that Marvel brings to its movies, and ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is going to be one such powerhouse of a film that has the whole country excited.”
He said further: “As a writer and a filmmaker and now a fan – thanks to my son Aaditya – I am thrilled to be a part of this phenomenon which brings together a galaxy of powerful characters like Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and more.
I have tried to bring in an interesting local flavour to the movie without compromising on the original thought and certainly hope that fans will look forward to watching the Tamil version of the film.”
