Andrea confirms Chandra returns in the ‘Vada Chennai’ universe
Actress Andrea Jeremiah has confirmed one of the biggest fan theories in recent Tamil cinema by sharing a photograph of her character, Chandra, from the upcoming movie Arasan.
The viral image shows her in a rugged, intense saree-clad look, and by simply captioning it “Chandra,” she has officially signaled her return to the role she made famous in the 2018 cult classic Vada Chennai.
This confirmation has sparked a “viral” frenzy, as it bridges the gap between the original story and this new chapter in director Vetri Maaran’s gritty North Chennai universe.
Arasan is directed by Vetri Maaran and features Silambarasan TR (Simbu) in the lead.
