Ammuchi 2 review
Story:
In the first part Arun comes to his grandmother’s village unwillingly. But he has a fun time and then goes back to his home.
However, in Ammuchi 2, he retruns back to the village with a mission.
In this part he goes back to the village to help in the education of Mithra which will in turn have an impact of his life.
What are the challenges that Arun faces in this journey, was he successful, what happens next forms the rest of the story.
Analysis:
The team of Nakkalites have delivered a full fledged entertainment. Every character in the movie has a role to play in the proceedings.
Arun delivers a memorable performance and is complimented well by Srija and Chinnamani.
Casting is apt and most of the characters have been retained from the first part.
Story by Prasanna Balachandran is done in a neat manner with full fledged entertainment.
The screenplay is also well written and the three hours runtime is not a issue.
Director Rajeshwar has ensured that the proceedings are kept interesting throughout the runtime.
Vivek Saro’s music gels well with the theme of the movie.
Cinematography by Santosh Kumar SJ is better than the first part.
Editing by Kannan Balu could have been crisp especially in the second half.
