There were reports in few sections of the media that there was a rift between Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi, the heroines of Suriya-starrer NGK directed by Selvaraghavan.
However, Rakul Preet Singh has cleared the air about the rumours stating that there are no issues between them. She said that both of them will be portraying two very strong characters in the upcoming movie which is scheduled to release this Friday.
Earlier, reports stated that some issues had emerged between Rakul Preet and Sai Pallavi thereby creating a rife between them.
Meanwhile, Suriya, Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet heaped laurels on the film’s director Selvaraghavan at a recent promotional event that took place in Hyderabad.
Suriya said, “I waited nearly eighteen years to work with this man. I’m a big fan of him and that’s why I did this film ‘NGK’. I would call Selva as a special person in my life, have a lot of respect for his craft.”
Rakul Preet stated: “I should thank Selvaraghavan sir for believing in me for the character Vanathi because most of the time, I get only bubbly and girl next door roles. The character is something which I’ve never done before. I’m a big fan of him for a long time, the debut film of mine is the Kannada remake of 7G Rainbow Colony. I would love to work with again and again as he pushes his actors so much”.
Sai Pallavi said, “When I signed this film, my friends told me that Selvaraghavan is a perfectionist that we should be in the moment and not concentrate on the phone. Selvaraghavan is a visionary that his scenes would be on par with films which will be made after ten years. It’s a great learning experience that things which I learned on the sets of NGK will help me in future films.”
