Akshay Kumar reveals untold things

Akshay is quite happy with the success of his films. “Someone was asking me now, ‘You are on which rank?’ I was like, ‘Mahalaxmi ka ghoda thodhi hu’. For me, if I’m working, it is more than enough,” he says in an intervie to TOI.

With three back-to-back hits this year (Kesari, Mission Mangal, and Housefull 4),  he says, “Why only this year? All the years gone by have been good for me. I make films fast, and in a very small budget. The budget for Good Newwz is just Rs 36 crore. It’s high on content and low on budget, like my other films.

We earn half of the revenue from music and the other half from the overseas. So even if my film does Rs 120 crore, it still it is a hit. And if it earns Rs 200 crore then it is a change in fortune. I don’t think too much, I don’t carry the burden, and I am happy with the business my films do.”

Akshay Kumar expressed his fondness for Salman Khan despite the social media war that their fans are waging against each other where Akki’s followers are chanting #Dabangg3boxofficescam and Bhai’s fans are posting #CitizenshipscammerAkshay.

The Good Newwz actor was all praises for Salman Khan. Making his liking for the actor evident, he admitted that he has always loved Salman and has a soft spot for him. He also expressed his will to reunite with Salman in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi 2.

He said, “It’s fun to reinvent. I get bored easily; I learned this early on in my career when I was doing only action films. Filmmakers were not offering me anything different. Fortunately, Hera Pheri turned things around, and since then I am trying to explore different genres. I am a greedy actor. If I am constantly changing my image, it is because I am enjoying it. I am not doing it to set an example.”
