Ajith’s Valimai shoot resumes in Chennai

Ajith’s Valimai shooting, which was happening at the outskirts of Chennai in March, was put on hold due to the COVID spread.

Now, the team has resumed the shooting from where they had left, and director H Vinoth has followed all the government restrictions while carrying the shoot.

Police vans can be spotted on the set as well. Ajith will be joining the Valimai team in this schedule. According to multiple reports, this schedule is expected to go on for about 15 days.

Meanwhile, Telugu actor Karthikeya Gummakonda was spotted at Hyderabad airport yesterday (September 23). It is rumoured that the RX 100 actor has been roped in to play the villain in Valimai, directed by H Vinoth. However, the makers of Valimai haven’t confirmed the same.

Karthikeya has also joined the shooting of ‘Valimai’, and the director is reportedly shooting some race scenes with the actor. Meanwhile, Ajith is expected to join for his face-off scenes with Karthikeya.

In his tweet, Kartikeya said that he was overwhelmed with the love showered on him by actor Ajith’s fans on his birthday. He promised to work hard and asked them to wait patiently for a special update regarding Valimai soon. A few months ago, it was rumoured that Kartikeya has been roped in as the antagonist in the film. However, there has been no official confirmation on the same.

“Special thanks to all #ThalaAjith sir fans for showering so much love on my birthday.I promise to work hard and make us all proud ..  Konjam porumaiya irunga. Neenga edhir parthadha vida sirapaana oru update vara pogudhu #Valimai  #WaitingForThalaDharisanam Enna Naa Solradhu😎” he said.
