Aishwarya Rajesh clarifies on her success meet comments

At the success meet of her recent release Kanaa, Aishwarya Rajesh said success meets are being conducted no matter whether a movie is really a hit or not.

In the presence of the film’s producer Sivakarthikeyan and veteran actor Sathyaraj who played her father in the movie, she said, “It happens that success meets and parties are hosted just like that when the film is a flop. However, Kanaa happens to be a real big success.”

Following this, Sivakarthikeyan made a hilarious gesture of rushing towards the podium and asking her to get down. Also, Sathyaraj said, “I second what all Aishwarya Rajesh said except the final statement.”

As he repeated it, Aishwarya Rajesh wondered why he was doing so and he said, “Yes, I have to keep repeating it or else they would forget it.”

With the comments of Aishwarya Rajesh creating a controversy, the actress has clarified on it on her Twitter page.

“Hi guys. It’ was jus a fun. Speech for #KanaaSuccessMeet I din. Mean. Any movie. Here. an. Neve hurt anyone I always,” the Kaaka Muttai and Chekka Chivantha Vaanam actress said.

She added: “Pray for all d movies to become blockbuster hit .. I know how hard it is to make a movie an make it huge. Success. Really sorry if my statement hurt. Any….”

Earlier in her address, she said, “I don’t know cricket but both Sivakarthikeyan and Arun took the extra risk in casting me. Guess I’ve justified the role. My mom always wants me to sign more films as the lifespan of heroines is short. After watching Kanaa, my mom told me that even if my career ends with this film, she will be happy and contented.”
