AIADMK MP Mohammed Jan passes away

AIADMK Rajya Sabha MP Mohammed Jan passed away today due to heart attack.

Sources, he was involved in election campaign in Vellore district when he suffered heart attack.

He was a member of the 14th Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from the Ranipet constituency. He represented the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.

He was Minister for the Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare.
