Ahead of wedding anniversary, Deepika and Ranveer share interesting details about themselves

Ahead of their first wedding anniversary, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have shared interesting details about themselves. Ranveer took to his social media handles to share a quirky picture from the sets of their first film together ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married in 2018 and later this month, the couple will be celebrating their first Diwali together after marriage. In a recent interview, Deepika was asked how she plans to celebrate the festival post wedding. Without thinking much, she shared that it goes by the rule, that they won’t socialise much and the day will be completely dedicated to their family.

“Family time, we extremely value the time we have with our parents and sisters. We will not be working that’s the rule and we won’t be socialising much. Just family time!” Deepika said on The Print’s Off The Cuff chat show.

Deepika graced the event of Jio MAMI Movie Mela with Star and she candidly spoke to Rajeev Masand and Anupama Chopra about a lot of things, including her most memorable roles and Ranbir and Ranveer’s acting process.

Deepika said, “Ranbir doesn’t really have a process; he is very spontaneous. I have never really seen him ‘prepare’ for his role as such. He’s like me in that respect. Our approach is 50% rehearsed and 50% spontaneous.”

She added, “Ranveer, on the other hand, really gets into the process. He changes everything for the role – right from the car he drives, to the clothes and the perfume he wears. He’s a different person every six months, which is probably one of the reasons why our relationship has lasted so long; I never get bored.”

Asked to count the number of films she has worked on, Deepika said, “I have never really worked towards keeping a count on the number of films I have done, but more about connecting with the work I have done. My acting process begins with the narration. While a great narration may not necessarily translate into a great movie, it helps me visualise the story and the character. It helps bring out the honesty of the script.”
