After trolls, now support pours in for Kangana’s look in Thalaivi

When Kangana Ranaut’s first look in Jayalalithaa biopic Thalaivi was released, many trolled her for not exactly reproducing Jayalalithaa’s look in the movie directed by A L Vijay.

However now, the Bollywood actress is founding support too. Kangana’s sister and spokesperson Rangoli Chandel, said, “Anyone who has got eyes can see the brilliance of prosthetic work baki samosa gang is there jo din ko raat aur raat ko din kehte hain, they are inconsequential.”

Malavikka Sridharan Sundar, a jouralist-writer, posted: “I see a lot of memes about Kangana not reproducing Jayalalitha’s appearance in her new movie. Dude, actors are meant to enact a character, she can dress up and act like them. How do you expect actors to look just like them?

#Facepalm It would be all the more artificial to find a plump lady, use all the makeup technology to reproduce the look and casting a bad actor to play the role. Oru nyayam venama daww (expect what’s reasonable) 💁”

Recently, it emerged that Aravind Swamy has reportedly turned fown Valimai since he was busy working on AL Vijay directed Thalaivi, wherein he plays the role of MGR.

Also, Kangana recently said she was finding it quite difficult to learn the Tamil language and hence, has decided to mug up her dialogues for the movie.

Speaking to the media, she said that she is finding it tough to learn Tamil. She said that she was thinking of learning Tamil the way she did English but said that she finds the language difficult.
