Bharathi Balakumaran’s emotional nativity based film!
Films rooted in faith, divine beliefs, and folk traditions have increasingly captured the imagination of audiences across the world. Several films have explored the Nativity based lives and realities rooted in the soil and culture of the land. However, behind such lived experiences lie numerous supernatural stories deeply embedded in our native folk traditions. This film will explore those domain with the genre of ‘Folklore Mystery’
In this new film, set against the backdrop of a native mystery backdrop, actor Rahman will be seen in a role unlike anything he has portrayed before. Set in the 1980s, the story revolves around a Zamindar character who struggles to protect his family from a series of supernatural occurrences that begin to haunt their lives.
The film is being produced on a grand scale by Komala and Hari Bhaskaran under the banner of Komala Hari Pictures, the production house behind Gentlewoman, marking their fourth production venture. Tentatively titled as Production No. 4, the film’s title will be confirmed and announced soon.
Based on a true story connected to supernatural incidents that unfolded in the southern districts during the mid-1980s, involving bloodshed and deeply unsettling events, the film has evolved into an expansive and compelling narrative. Acclaimed filmmaker Bharathi Balakumaran, who earned appreciation for his rooted rural drama Vizha, has written the story and screenplay and will direct the film.
Actor Vishva plays the lead role, alongside an ensemble cast including Mime Gopi, Aadukalam Naren, Risha Jacobs, Munishkanth, Anupama Kumar, Baba Bhaskar, Remya Suresh, and several others, with casting currently underway.
The shooting of the film is scheduled to commence from the 22nd of this month and will continue extensively, with portions also planned to be filmed in Chennai.

நாட்டார் மர்மக்கதையை களமாகக் கொண்டு உருவாகும் புதிய திரைப்படத்தில் நடிகர் ரகுமான் இதுவரை நடிக்காத கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடிக்கிறார்.
1980களின் பின்னணியில் நடக்கும் கதையில் ‘அமானுஷ்ய’ சம்பவங்களால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட தனது குடும்பத்தை காக்க முயற்சிக்கும் ஜமீன் கதாபாத்திரத்தை ஏற்றிருக்கிறார்.

1980-களின் மத்தியில், தென் மாவட்டங்களில் ரத்தமும் சதையுமாய் அரங்கேறிய ‘அமானுஷ்யம்’ சார்ந்த உண்மைக் கதை என்பது, இப்படத்தை பிரமாண்ட கதையாக மாற்றியுள்ளது.

இயக்கி, அனைவர் பாராட்டையும் பெற்ற பாரதி பாலகுமாரன், கதை திரைக்கதை அமைத்து டைரக்ட் செய்கிறார்.
இதில், நாயகனாக விஷ்வா நடிக்கிறார்.
மேலும், மைம் கோபி, ஆடுகளம் நரேன், ரிஷா ஜாக்கோப்ஸ், முனிஷ்காந்த், அனுபமா குமார், பாபா பாஸ்கர், ரெம்யா சுரேஷ் மற்றும் பல நடிகர், நடிகை தேர்வு நடை பெற்று வருகிறது.
இதன் படபிடிப்பு இம்மாதம் 22ம் தேதி முதல் தொடர்ந்து நடை பெறுகிறது. சென்னையிலும் சில காட்சிகள் நடைபெறும்.
