Actor Pandu and Singer Komagan lose their life to Covid

Actor Pandu, who appeared in a number of films as a supporting character, died of corona.
After contracting the virus, Pandu and his wife Kumudha were admitted to a private hospital.
Pandu passed away this morning, though his wife remains in ICU.

He is well-known not only for his acting abilities, but also for creating AIADMK’s two-leaf emblem.

Pandu has acted in several hit films including Chinnathambi, Kadhal Kottai and Ezhayin Sirippil.

Meanwhile, Komagan, who rose to fame with the Autograph song Ovvoru Pookalumey, passed away after contracting Coronavirus. Komagan is a Nagercoil native who has been blind since birth. He started his career as a mobility coach, where he met and married his wife Anitha. Komagan founded ‘Komagan’s Ragapriya,’ a blind people’s orchestra. Director Cheran noticed him and offered him the opportunity to act in Autograph.

He went on to work in a few more films after that. He eventually got a job at the ICF. He developed corona symptoms two weeks ago and was treated at a private hospital. Due to the lack of progress, he was readmitted to the ICF hospital, where he breathed his last breath. It should be noted that the Tamilnadu government recently presented him with the Kalaimamani medal.
