Actor-director SJ Suryah injured on the sets of Killer

Actor and director SJ Suryah sustained injuries during the shooting of his upcoming directorial venture, Killer.

The incident occurred in Chennai during a high-octane stunt sequence, leading to a temporary pause in the film’s production.

According to reports, the team was filming the third schedule of the movie in the Palavakkam area of Chennai.

The sequence involved a risky stunt where SJ Suryah was being filmed using a rope. During the take, he unexpectedly lost control and collided with a metal rod.

The impact caused significant injuries to both of his legs, with reports indicating heavy bleeding at the spot.

Crew members immediately rushed the actor to a nearby private hospital. Medical professionals administered first aid and performed minor surgery to close the wounds, which required several stitches on both legs.

Doctors have stated that SJ Suryah’s condition is currently stable. However, he has been strictly advised to take complete bed rest for the next 15 days to ensure proper healing of the injuries.

Following the medical advice, the production team of Killer has officially paused the shoot.

Killer is a highly anticipated project as it marks SJ Suryah’s return to the director’s chair after a gap of nearly 10 years.
