First it was said the film will release in August. Then Gautham Vasudev Menon has recently announced that his Tamil-Telugu bilingual, Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada(AYM) / Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo (SSS) will be releasing on September 9 but now, the film has been postponed to October.
According to sources, Naga Chaitanya’s one more film Premam will releasing on September 9 and to avoid the clash, SSS has been postponed to October.
As releasing AYM ahead of SSS will affect the business of the latter, Gautham Menon has decided to postpone the release of both the versions, they added.
It is an action-romance film written and directed by Gautham Menon. The film stars Silambarasan and Manjima Mohan in lead roles in Tamil. Initially titled as Sattendru Maarathu Vaanillai, the film is a love story that enters a violent action space.
Principal photography commenced in November 2013, however, in June 2014, filming schedules were postponed until Menon completed his other project Yennai Arindhaal (2015) with Ajith Kumar. Filming recommenced on 21 February 2015, majority of shooting was done in Chennai, India.
The film features film score and soundtrack album composed by A. R. Rahman, with lyrics by Thamarai. It is simultaneously made in Telugu as Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo with Naga Chaitanya and Manjima Mohan in lead roles.
