Abhishek Agarwal’s The Kashmir Files Wins The Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration at the 69th National Film Awards 2023

The Kashmir Files, produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts, Zee Studios and I am Buddha Production, won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration at the 69th National Film Award 2023.

Speaking about the allure, Producer Abhishek Agarwal shared, “I am elated with the honour bestowed on our film by the Jury of 69th National Film Awards 2023. The Kashmir Files was a special film with a strong message. I dedicate this award to Kashmiri Pandits and how their pain has been recognised all over the world including the work of all actors and technicians.

I dedicate this film to the Kashmiri Pandits who believed in us and our storytelling. They are the equal contributors in the making of The Kashmir Filed and this Award, the recognition and the praises are as much as theirs as it’s our’s.”

The Kashmir Files is centred around the 1990 exodus of Kashmiri Hindus from Indian-administered Kashmir. The film was directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by Tej Narayan Agarwal, Abhishek Agarwal, Pallavi Joshi and Vivek Agnihotri.

Abhishek Agarwal who is also known for the huge success of Karthikeya 2 will soon present the audiences with another blockbuster, Tiger Nageswara Rao, a pan-Indian film starring Mass Maharaja, Ravi Teja. The film is slated for a theatrical on the 20th of October 2023.
