Aarav, the title winner of the first season of Bigg Boss Tamil is all set to marry his longtime girlfriend Raahei who is the female lead in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s upcoming film Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha starring Varun and Krishna in the lead.
Aarav was rumored to marry actress Oviya, who was also part of the television reality show. But, Oviya cleared the rumors by saying that he is only a friend to her and she did not have much faith in marriage. Now, if the reports are true Aarav will be getting married to actress Raahei on September 6.
Aarav Nafeez who after doing some roles in the South films shot to fame after participating in a television reality show. Aarav then played the lead role in ‘Market Raja MBBS’, which was directed by Saran, and the film received mixed reviews. Now, the latest buzz is that Aarav will marry Gautham Menon’s film heroine Raahel on September 6.
Aarav is also acting in films like Raja Bheema and Meendum Vaa Arugil Vaa. Before his Bigg Boss stint, Aarav appeared in Vijay Antony’s Saithaan and Mani Ratnam’s O Kadhal Kanmani.
Arav was born in Nagercoil in southern Tamil Nadu as Nafeez Kizar. His father worked as a professor at Trichy Government Law College, which prompted the family to shift to Trichy, where Arav spent his formative years. He did his schooling in Trichy at Kamala Niketan Montessori School before moving to Chennai to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hindustan University.
Following his education, Arav attempted the Civil Service Exams before settling for a job with Daimler India Commercial Vehicles and then with Apollo Tyres. During the same period, he became acquainted with celebrity photographer V. S. Anandhakrishna, who he met through Facebook.
Anandhakrishna introduced Arav to the world of modelling and held a shoot with him, prompting a Dubai-based garment company to approach him within a week of the shoot. He subsequently went on to do more than three hundred TV commercials and print ads for brands, establishing himself in the South Indian modelling industry.
