The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu declared the Class 11 results today on its official website tnresults.nic.in.
As much as 95 percent students cleared the Tamil Nadu Class 11 board exam, up by 3.7 percent. As is the trend these days, girls outdid boys as 96.5 per cent of them passed, while only 93.3 per cent of boys cleared the exam.
Erode tops the list among districts by bettering the State average and scoring 98.09 per cent pass. It is closely followed by Tirupur, which registered 97.90 pass percentage, and Coimbatore, which scored 97.60 per cent pass.
Apart from official websites, TN results will be available on an app hosted by NIC and also through SMS service (which will be provided for candidates who had registered their mobile numbers with TN DGE; and SMS with the TN 11th results will be sent to the registered numbers).
In 2018, the Tamil Nadu Plus One (Class 11) board results 2018 were declared by the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TN DGE) on May 30. The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TN DGE) declared the results nearly 8.63 lakh students at around 9 am.
The overall pass percentage of TN Plus One Results 2018 stood at 91.3 percent. Further, girls outperformed boys with 94.6 percent. The pass percentage for boys stood at 87.4 percent. A total of 36,380 students scored more than 500.
Students can also download the TN HSC result mobile application on Android and iOS devices to get their scores easily. After the result is declared, students can access their marksheets on dge.tn.nic.in or collect them from their respective schools.
