Rajinikanth, who is currently preparing for the grand release of his upcoming action thriller Coolie on August 14, is reportedly in talks for a new project with a rising Tollywood filmmaker.
According to sources, director Vivek Athreya is likely to helm the superstar’s next film.
The project is said to be backed by leading production house Mythri Movie Makers, which is reportedly planning a large-scale collaboration with the veteran actor.
While an official confirmation is awaited, speculation about the project has already sparked widespread interest among fans and industry insiders.
Meanwhile Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, marks Rajinikanth’s return to a full-fledged action role.
Apart from this, Rajinikanth is also part of Jailer 2 directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar.
