Siddharth (Dulquer Salmaan) and Kallis (Rakshan) are scamsters, friends and roommates. Siddharth falls for Meera (Ritu Varma) and proposes to her as well.
And, she accepts him. Meanwhile, Kallis falls in love with Meera’s friend Shreya (Niranjani Ahathiyan). The two men decide to mend their ways and settle with their girlfriends in Goa.
However, a determined police officer Prathap Chakravarthi (Gautham Vasudev Menon), who is personally affected by the acts of Siddharth and Kallis, is after them.
What follows is a cat and mouse game which takes us on a roller coaster ride before revealing who succeeded in the mission.
Director Desingh Periyasamy seems to be too confident in both writing as well as filmmaking. These two things, coupled with beautiful performance by the cast and laudable contribution from the technical team, make Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal a treat to watch.
The movie, despite the initial minutes with take time to move on, offers us a fun-filled ride with laughs and thrills. Even the emotional moments are loaded with humour.
Dulquer Salman is at ease delivering a fine performance, while Rakshan is the second hero. Ritu Varma and Niranjani have played their respective parts well.
Gautham Vasudev Menon brings in style and credibility to his character. Songs and score by Masala Coffee and Harshvardhan Rameshwar are energetic.
Visuals by K M Bhaskaran provided the much needed richness to the script. Though the film runs a little longer, we don’t complain much as we get entertained.
