Tiruchirapalli, Aug 28 The water level in the Stanley reservoir at Mettur across river Cauvery stood at 81.90 ft this morning against its full capacity of 120 ft.

The inflow into the reservoir was 13,437 cusecs and the discharge was 12,999 cusecs.

From the Grand Anicut, 6,679 cusecs of water was released through Cauvery, 1,108 cusecs through Vennar, 3,004 cusecs through Grand Anicut canal and 1,016 cusecs through Colernoon for delta irrigation, PWD sources said.
