Chennai, 27 Aug: ROTARY CLUB OF CHENNAI SAMUDRA (An All Womens’ Club) affiliated to Rotary International District 3230 is holding an Exhibition of ‘REPRODUCED PAINTINGS OF EUROPEAN GREAT MASTERS’. The sale proceeds would be utilised for community development activities of the club, such as hospitals, schools, and senior citizen and destitute homes.

The Menhir Art Gallery, a Mumbai based gallery, are the people behind these paintings and these paintings come with a life time warranty.

The 23-member strong complement of women under the stewardship of Rtn Anita Ganeshan have embarked on this novel idea, which hopefully will generate great interest as also resources for the club’s community development activities. Director VASANTH inaugurated the Exhibition and transacted the first sale of the paintings. The Exhibition is on till the 30th of August at LALITH KALA AKADEMI FROM 11A.M TO 7.P.M, TILL 30TH AUGUST 2008
